Happy Hormones Baby Bounce at Edenhope Library
Build. Grow. Protect. Feel-Good Foundations for Life.
This special Baby Bounce pop-up series brings the science of happiness to storytime! Each week explores one of the ‘happy hormones’ that support connection and wellbeing — for babies and their grown-ups alike.
- 5th November – Dopamine: The Joy of Discovery
Songs and stories that celebrate curiosity, achievement and little wins — building confidence and anticipation. - 3rd December – Endorphins: The Power of Play
High-energy rhymes, movement and laughter release endorphins, helping children grow strong bodies and resilient minds. - 4th March 2026 – Oxytocin: The Bond of Love
Gentle lullabies, cuddles and tickle rhymes strengthen attachment and emotional safety. - 1st April 2026 – Serotonin: The Calm Connection
Mindful songs and routines nurture calm, confidence and contentment — a sense of belonging that protects wellbeing.
Join us at 10:30am in the Edenhope Library Activity Area for a 30-minute session combining music, movement and early literacy activities to support brain development and positive relationships. Parents and carers will also pick up simple ideas to bring the science of happiness into everyday life.
