EDENHOPE: Book Launch with Diana Lee Saville

A new illustrated children’s book, Igidious Cogsworth & The Steampowered Boots, by Edenhope author and illustrator Diana Lee Saville will be officially launched at the Edenhope Library on Friday, 7 August 2026, inviting readers of all ages into a world of flying tractors, dachshunds and imaginative steampunk adventures.

Igidious is an eccentric Rag & Bone (junk) man who travels the countryside in a flying steam-powered tractor with his faithful dachshund companion, Sir Nedward von Noodle. Their adventure begins when the curious pair discover a strange pair of bubbling boots hanging from a tree. When Igidious tries them on and flicks a hidden switch, the boots suddenly spring to life, sending him on a wild and unstoppable adventure filled with steam-powered fun, peculiar inventions and unforgettable surprises.

Igidious Cogsworth & The Steampowered Boots is a whimsical story suitable for readers of all ages.

The book launch will be held at 4pm on Friday, 7 August 2026, at Edenhope Library, 78 Elizabeth St (P: 03 5585 1302).

Copies of the book will be available for purchase on the day for $25 each. This is a cash-only event. Please book your tickets below with the library for catering purposes.
