Cricut Create Lab at Horsham Library

Unlock creativity and learn real-world design skills in our hands-on Cricut Create Lab! Across three exciting workshops, participants will explore digital design, cutting technology, and custom crafting — transforming their ideas into personalised projects they can take home.

This program is available to children aged 13-18.

Week 1: Design Lab – Introduction to Cricut & Design Space

Participants will be introduced to the Cricut 3 machine and learn how it works. They’ll explore the premium Cricut Design Space, create digital designs, and prepare two custom projects — one for a mug and one for a T-shirt — which will be brought to life in the following sessions.

No need to bring devices! We have Public Access computers and iPads all equipped with Cricut Design Space.

Week 2: Drink Lab – Custom Mug Creation

Using their own designs from Week 1, participants will learn how to cut and apply their artwork to a mug. With use of the Cricut Mug Press, each participant will create a personalised, professionally finished mug to take home.

Week 3: Tee Lab – Clothes Customisation

In the final session, participants will cut iron-on vinyl designs and heat-press their custom creation onto a T-shirt they bring from home. They can bring any item of clothing to try out (except leather).
