EDENHOPE: Intergenerational Day for Seniors Week

Do you have a phone, iPad or laptop that you’d like a little help with? Would you enjoy sharing stories about life in Edenhope, years ago?

As part of the Victorian Seniors Festival, Edenhope Library is bringing together local students and senior residents for a friendly day of technology help and community connection.

Students will assist seniors with everyday tech, including phones, texting, emailing and sharing photos. No question is too small.

Afterwards, seniors are invited to chat with students and share memories of growing up – what school, shops and social life were like, how Edenhope has changed over the years, life before mobile phones and the internet. Your stories will help young people understand the history and community of Edenhope.

Senior residents from Edenhope and surrounding areas are welcome.

Join us again on Wednesday, 14th October at 1.00pm for a special seniors’ session introducing our new Open Access Library Program. Stay on afterwards for a relaxed afternoon of games and socialising.
