With 45 ukuleles to hand out, kids (and grown-ups!) Woody will teach you to play real songs in minutes — then join in for a joyous sing-along finale. It’s interactive, musical, and full of laughter as Woody’s Ukulele School brings the magic of music to life.
Woody’s Ukulele School is a fun, hands-on workshop where kids learn simple songs together — no experience needed. Sessions include ukuleles, games, group music-making, and a mini performance finale. Woody is a children’s performer and former teacher who has taught over 12,000 kids to play ukulele across Australia. He has written songs for ABC Kids and performed at festivals, schools, libraries, and arts events nationwide.
Artist Bio – Woody Clark
Woody Clark is one of Australia’s favourite children’s music specialists, entertainers, and educators. A songwriter for ABC Kids, he’s taught over 10,000 children to strum their first tune through his travelling ukulele school and performed at major festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Fremantle Arts Centre, and Adelaide Fringe.
With his signature blend of bush storytelling, eco-friendly songs, and playful puppetry, Woody celebrates the joy of making music together. His performances bring laughter, learning, and a big dose of Aussie heart to kids and families everywhere.
