Speechie Library Talks 2024 at Kaniva Library
Do you have a child between 0–5 years old? Would you like to help develop their language and literacy skills? Come to our Speechie Library Talk!
Speech pathologists work with children and families to help to build the foundations on which literacy skills develop
and help support a healthy transition into literacy.
At the Kaniva Library Speechie Talk, you’ll meet our local speech pathologist, Tarrah Dodds, and enjoy a reading of one of Speech Pathology Australia’s Book of the Year 2024 winning books!
At the Speechies, you’ll find out more about how you can support your child’s language and literacy development at home.
About Speechie Library Talks:
Speech Pathology Australia’s Speechie Library Talks (SLT) connect local library communities with their local speech pathologist, or ‘speechie.’
The SLTs are free presentations to your library community, focused on helping parents and carers to develop language and literacy for children aged 0-5 years at home.
